THE TOPIC

Darfur Debate Format

2 day debate Example of how this works

~ Debate lasts 2 days. Scores for each day are added together.
~ Every student must speak in order to receive a grade.
~ Grades are determined by peer feedback & evaluations.
~ Mr. Farrell is the judge and scores the debate material.
~ Each team gets a 1 minute time out, which can be called at any time during each day's debate.
~

COIN TOSS
~Flip of a coin decides who goes first. (for each day)

~Winner of the toss gets to pick one of the following:
A) PRO or CON goes 1st (on day 1)
B) Last ups (on day 2)
For more details, see my example of a 2 day debate

use them to determine an average from a random sampling.
